Sneaky bugger

Archie has learnt to pick miscellanious items up in his mouth when we are out walking, hoping that I'll ask him to drop it and give him a biscuit for being a good boy!

Well fella you have been rumbled!

Isn't it amazing 'how they think'--and can come up with their own way of getting what they want!
Ha, ha, ha, ha smart boy!!

Hah, hah, hah, smart boy!!
Very smart boy.
Rest assured Archies "Grab and Gobble" move is more widespread than one might think. Bailee (7 months) does exactly the same thing over here in Williamstown, New Jersey. Simple Sheepie Math shows him one walk equals one pocket full of treats. I'm just glad he drops everything, opps, ALMOST everything he picks up. I have never seen a dog so "Treat Motivated" in my life. I am trying to change the ratio of treats to grabs from the one to one to a more reasonable 3 or 4 grabs to one treat, but he isn't quite as happy as I am with that formula. A work in progress.
This is hilarious!
My aunt had a GSD that started grabbing napkins off of people's laps while they were eating dinner. My aunt would give the dog a treat if she would surrender the stolen napkin. As you can guess, the behavior actually increased, and became a game of sorts. Smart puppy! :)

Summer will stand on the garden path waiting until I mention the word biscuit in any sentence, like

Ron why did my message post 3 times?? 8O
Three times the charm?

I don't know. It seems to happen once in a while, and usually the same person does it over and over again, and I follow around behind deleting the duplicates. This is the first time I've seen them from you. Do/did you use your back button on your browser? Sometimes when you back up the browser can repeat the action of the page.

Did it take a really long time to post?
No back button but I do remember having a frustrated moment when something took ages to load. Might have been this post. And it was such an articulate response too, would have taken everyone ages to read it 3 times :!: :D
Doing a little detective work and I noticed the first 2 messages to post said Ha, ha, ha, ha while #3 had a Hah, hah, hah. This may require further investigation. Yuk, yuk, yuk!
duh must have thought it didnt post and re done it! now you all get to read it lots. I hate slow internet connections.
