My friend's dog is in a cast

Poor Olive has broken two toes on her front paw. Now she has a cast up to her shoulder. She can walk on her cast to go potty on leash. The vet wants the cast on for 6weeks. What is a person suppose to do with a dog in a cast for 6 weeks? No walks...no games...

Sounds like a long time. Has anyone had a situation such as this.

not that I have read them or tried them but aren't there books out there for crate games? also I would try some of karen overall relaxation protocols. a tired mind can be as good as a tired body.
That is a good idea. I will check that out.
Clyde would be thrilled if he didn't have to get up for 6 weeks, LOL.

Clyde is funny.

By the way I just looked up the karen overall relaxation. Those look like good activities. I am going to go through them with Bert, that should help out, we start basic obedience next week.
