Hi.. looking in Southern Arizona
I'm new to this forum and have been looking for an OES for about a year. I am really pretty tired of the backyard breeder situation that saturates this area. While my heart is longing for an OES to love and partner with, I refuse to support the backyard breeders. My family and I have decided to begin the seach to rescue one instead. We thought this might be a nice place to start. I've been lurking on the OES forum for about 3 months and decided I should come out from hiding, LOL, and introduce myself and get the word out that we're looking. Nice to meet you all!  |

Just got a call back from pat and they haven't had any OES in since last year. She sounded very suprised b/c she always has one or two she said. I filled out the application and she's going to hold it on file for us.  |

| Thank you. I feel like this might be a longer time process that we'd expected but you can't put a time frame on a sheepie to love. We're just hoping it might be on the sooner side verses the later side. We aren't shutting the breeder idea off, just haven't found that "right one" yet. |
| Welcome to the forum! Are you against the idea of having a puppy shipped to you? That would really expand your search area if it was something you'd consider.

| Southern Cal won't rescue out of area. Wait, isn't there a boy up in Utah.....who has him?? Is he being fostered for Colorado rescue?? Granted a drive up to SLC is no picnic from AZ. |
| No, we aren't against the idea of having a puppy shipped to us, just haven't found the right breeder. Thanks for the info. We won't be able to go to Colorado but would conside going closer to us. I know the rescue in Cali won't adopt out of state but maybe something will open up in Phoenix. |
