Marley is having Surgery this morning

I took Marley into the vet's on Monday because she was shaking her head and had a raw area on her stomach from licking - I suspected a yeast issue. While I was there I showed him an area we had looked at in the fall and assumed was a bug bite - well it seems it is a cyst that he wants to take out today! I am sure she will be fine and it will be nothing, but....

and she is still shaking her head 8O

:ghug: and best of luck to Marley :D
Will be thinking about you and Marley today....Good, healing thoughts and big hugs being sent....let us know when she is home, safe and sound. :ghug:
Marley will be in my thoughts. Wishing her a speedy recovery
I'm sure she'll be fine. Positive thoughts being sent your way. :ghug:
Kerry I'd be a little freaked out, too. It wasn't at all what you were planning on dealing with today. I am sure it will be fine, but you'll both be in my thoughts today. :ghug:

No idea why she's shaking her head? :?
Poor Miss Marley. I'll be thinking of her today. Best of luck!
Good luck today, Marley.

That sucks. Nothing worse than "emergency' surgery. :(

Good luck.
well I just picked her up and she is outside in the yard with Morgan - doesn't seem to have fazed her a bit, alhtough she wouldn't let the poor vet near her when I picked her up.

Not sure yet what all the issue with the cyst was, we talked more about her ears and her itching issue than the surgery when I went in and the office was busy (down a receptionist this week due to her own surgery).

She has to have the stitches out in 10 days and I will get more info then. right now she looks awful - her coat was coming back nicely and now they had to shave a good size patch and its still bleeding. He says she can go to her agiltiy run through on Friday night and her classes this weekend though, we shall see.
I'm glad she came through just fine.
Good lucky Marley. Hope for quick recovery.
So glad to hear Marley came thru the surgery well. :phew: Where was the cyst? Hopefully nowhere where she can lick at it.
Glad it went okay.
Hugs to Marley girl. :D
Poooor Marley!

I am glad surgery went well and hope she heals quickly.
Poor Marley. I hope she has a speedy recovery!
Glad to hear Marley is doing well. Amazingly, our animals seem to handle these kind of things better than their humans most of the time! Although I do have to admit that Mariah will play it to the hilt to see me sleep in the kennel with her!
Glad to hear that things went good! :D
hugs to marley girl
How is Miss Marley today?

Laurie and Oscar
when I left for work this mornings he was very unhappy about being left home, but she raced me up the stairs to get her peanut butter Kong.

And her ears are very nice and pink - no more shaking (the vet gave her half a dose of Ivermectin in case it was mites and cleaned them really well while she was under (he said there was very little debris in them)

Now the odd thing is - none of the other dogs shook their heads all morning :? I think they are trying to make me crazy.

She is scratching a bit still so she may have a medicated bath tonight - but her surgery doesn't seem to be affecting her at all.
Glad things are going well for Marley :D
Sooo glad Marley is doing well!!!!!
