new lab puppy, worried

Someone please help. We brought home a lab/shepherd mix(but at this time she looks 100% lab) 7-8 weeks old. She is great with doing her business outside in the yard provided taken every 2 hrs and even at night! But what I worry about is that she aggresively bites us, not just chews, but snarls and bites us unless she is dead tired. Her idea of play is pulling at our clothes and even growling with a snarl and if we are sitting down then biting anywhere. She actually jumps startled, turns her face and then snarls and bities. We try to distract her ofcourse but not working. We are begining to be a little wary of her. We have tried positive reinforcement, firm No everything. Please help. I do not want to give her away

you should seek help from a behaviorist, and enroll in puppy class. IMOP.
I have a similar problem with my OES....you can check out my post in BEHAVIOR under "i don't know where to post this....problem with nipping". I got a lot of great advise.

The biggest key for us has been that our puppy should have been sleeping A WHOLE LOT MORE!!! Some one told us that they should sleep around 12-17 hours a day!!!! If you aren't crate training START IMMEDIATELY!!! When she gets worked up put her in her crate for some down time and quiet. If she is like our puppy she is likely WAY over stimulated.

Try it...it gave us the sanity we needed just in the nick of time. I thought I was gonna lose it. :D :D :D :D :D :D
have you got your pup in a strict routine? feeding, toileting, rest time etc? They are like babies she is probably over tired and gets over excited. Dont let it get out of hand seek pro. help if needs be. keep us posted...xx
Thanks for all your replies. She is in a strict routine and that is going very well.
keep us posted. I want to know what's working for you...because like I said I have the same thing going on.

Some days are TERRIBLE!!!!! But just when I need it she has a good day, good thing because I have seriously talked about giving her up 8O

I'm getting to the point that I'm glad I've stuck with it. I hope you will too!
