How much nerve does a thief have??

Over the weekend we had our garden shed broken into and they took Bobs mountain bike which he hasn't even had a year yet.

We only discovered this yesterday (monday) morning when Bob went to get his bike to go to work.

Anyway when I returned home from work last night they had been back to get the lawnmower 8O

How much nerve do these people have?

George had obviously been going nuts inside the house but sadly he couldn't get out to them.

I just hope these people get what is coming to them and next time they cross the road their heads are ran over by a tank

Hi Vicki, sorry to hear that thieves have stolen the mountain bike and lawn mower.

My flat was broken into in the seventies when I still lived in Glasgow. I returned home from work one afternoon and was surprised my Border Collie did not come and meet me as usual, I assumed he was out walking with my girlfriend so I sat in the kitchen and had a cuppa, only when our phone rang did I discover he had cornered one of the burglers in our living room. :D

He was not growling just the top lip was trembling slightly as if to say go I dare you to run, the police had been chasing the thieves for about six months and were happy to have caught at least one of them. :D
Wow, talk about guts... That's awful, and I'm sorry you guys had to be the victim of it all! Bikes can be VERY expensive.
Sorry to hear about the break in. Hope they catch the individual(s). Believe me they have plenty of nerve.
I couldn't believe it.

The back of our house faces a public library. They lifted the mower over a 7ft wall and took it away.

Its not what was taken that annoys me, its the fact that people seem to think they have more right to your belongings than you do and the attitude that we can claim on our insurance so it costs us nothing, when in reality it does.

I think we need to start chopping peoples hands off when they are caught then they would only steal twice!

Then you would have people in an up roar saying it was inhumane to do such an act. I totally agree with the method. I bet they would think twice (pun intended) about stealing and that's it.
Oh Vicki I'm so sorry. Poor George must have been going frantic. Shame the people in the library weren't more observant. Is there any CCTV around the library that may have picked something up?

Yeh you are right, though I think more and people are becoming fed with nothing being done.

Its odd how the bad guys are the ones that get the protection
Oh sorry to hear that Vicki!!!!

oooooowwwww makes you so angry!!! :x
I realise this posting is a bit late but I thought I'd share a laugh with you all. The cops in Aust are hopeless. No joke. 20 years ago our house was broken into and they said stay in the car and we will come around and make sure no one is still in the house. I'm going to take it I can go inside now since I'm still waiting for a cop to show up! My saab was broken into and stripped of everything. 8 grand of damage. written off! The cop said where was it parked? Footpath or driveway? Driveway, I answered. Just as well, he said, If it had been parked on the footpath, I would have had to give you a ticket for parking a defectable car on public property! My son was beaten up by someone after an act of road rage by another person. It got to court where the other guy made mention that he knew my son, who is 30 ish, from primary school!!!! The judge dropped the charges and the idiot walked. My answer to it all??? A baseball bat. Whoops didn't know it was you!! Would you like me to call the police??? At least the police show up in America. In Aust they are just an urban myth...
