Ohhh... I'm making wings RIGHT NOW, so maybe I'll post recipe/pic later today or tomorrow.

I take 1-2lb wings.
dip GENEROUSLY in 1/2C flour which has seasoning in it (paprika, 1/4t cayenne, and some mrs. dash)

MUST put in fridge for 90 min. makes it stick.

then fry (i fry mine in peanut oil) for 10-15 min
drain on paper towels.

and in the meantime, in a saucepan... mix 1/4C butter with 1/4C hot sauce.

dip cooked wings in sauce, lay on paper towels, and serve!

I have another sauce that to me tastes better with vinegar too.

it's:

4T butter
1T distilled white vinegar
5T hot sauce.

melt in saucepan and let wings simmer in sauce for 20 min. Yums!

You can also bake the wings which must be sprayed with pam or they'll stick the the lined foil (which i recommend) at 350 for 45 min... then take out, spray wings all over w/pam and put back in for 15 min at 375 to make it crispy. Unless you fry the wings, I wouldn't use the second sauce that requires the wings to simmer in the sauce b/c they'll get soggy.
I make them the lazy way.....

Buy a big package of wings. Partially cook them in the microwave (gets rid of fat and speeds up the cooking process.)

Put them in the crockpot and pour what ever sauce you want over them. The red spicy sauce - sometimes I buy it, sometimes I make it. Then have side dishes of ranch and blue cheese dressing to dip them in as they are eaten. :D

That sounds like a great way!!

Here was our wings for lunch. Yummy ...with extra paper towels on the side!

I need to rent a room in Mrs. J's Boarding house.
I decided I don't want butter in my sauce for hot wings, so now I use 1/3C hot sauce, a couple of squirts of ketchup to thicken it up (guessing 2T'ish?), and then 2T honey. I mix, taste, and add a little more of something if I need it. It's mild, sticks nicely, and so good.

Just updating ;)

molasses wings are still my favorite though.
Yeah for removing the butter! I'm all for butter when it's needed, but to me it seems pointless in wing sauce, since it doesn't make it taste like butter...Yours sounds good. Too bad wings gross me out
^^ that's nuts. Wings are sooooooooooooo good 8)

Only time I wouldn't eat them is if I was on a first date. Ain't the hottest thing to eat in front of someone. I ate 25 wings by myself last night. Well, mr. j had wings too but only 9. Lil J had 2 (not sauce added). Joshee had 4 w/no sauce added (this boy could have eaten 12... seriously).
