I swear I did not get my breakfast.

Earlier this week Steve had to work late and got home around 4am. So I told him I would feed Bert before I go to work so he could sleep all day.
Around 1pm I check my voicemail and Steve says "did you feed Bert? Because he is acting very hungry."

Bert was trying to dupe us and get an extra meal. And Steve almost fell for it. Apparently Bert was walking from the pantry to his food bowl looking at Steve with the "come on I am hungry" face.

This is a christmas picture when he got the new feeding station from his grandparents.

lol...ive fallen for that routine 2 times.....i think they just want to catch up to fatty fatty fatty pants clyde!
Snowy does that all the time. Richard has fallen for it!!!
NOT ME THOUGH
Sheepies are creatures of habit. When he saw Steve he probably thought "hey, I thought I ate, but guess not since Dad, who usually feeds me just got here."
Violet you have a good point maybe poor Bert forgot. It happened to me once, perhaps Bert is more innocent than I believe.
LOl, poor Bert, the starving puppy.

At our house, it is Tipup the cat who pulls that one. He ended up really overweight about a year ago. Turns out he was doing the "starving" routine for every family member when they came in the door - and getting fed! 8O
Yep, same thing happens here. Randy fed them and then I fed them. only happened once. Now we learned to ask.
The sheepdogs in our house could definitely stand to skip a meal. :)
Poor Bert. The guy can't catch a break. No extra meals for him.
By definition, a feeding station is required to have food in it AT ALL TIMES! Bert knows the rules!
:D sounds just like my boys (2 legged ones) when they were growing up, anything to get more food
