DH just bought me a dremel
 DH came home with a lovely present for me ... a new dremel and a big container of accessories  and I can't wait to use it on Henry and see how I go....any advice or suggestions ..... |

| If you haven't used a dremel on him before, take it slow. By slow I mean put it on slow speed at first & let him look at it while you turn it on so he knows where the sound is coming from. It is the sound & sensation that the dogs need to get used to. Turn the speed up to do the nails but maybe just do a couple at first, even if you have to let him sort of 1/2 sit & 1/2 lay down. Once they get used to it, you will be amazed how easy it is to do nails!. My just flop over on their side & let me grind away. |
| I always hold th enail as well- seems to cut down on the sensations for them. |

| I just laid it next to Obe and he smelled, then turned it on for a minute the grabbed a paw and tried it. Unsure at first but he ended up letting me. Now he just lays there. |
