Quick question about LOST

So the hubby and I got Lost Season 4 (the way toooooo short season) for x-mas. I was watching a bonus feature and one of the directors said, " B/c we had already announced the end at the beginning of the season, we focused on the story telling. We had the whole puzzle now, so it was our job to fit all the puzzle pieces together"

Is the show over after season 5??? That will be sad, but i was wondering how they were going to continue having so many crisis on the island and it still feel like reality??!?!

Anybody know?

No, it's not over after season 5. I think it's on for 7 seasons? I know I just read a blurb on people.com with Matthew Fox saying he's building a house starting in March with hopes for it to be done right at the end of filming Lost in March 2010.
