New Year, New ME!!!

I am going to make a good try to be upbeat, happy, help people in need.
Thats why I want to share some fun jokes and nice stories. I won't say what we did or how much but the day after Xmas even though we had a flood, I laughed.

There was a story in the news paper about a very young couple that on the 26th they had a beautiful baby girl. Somehow that day their apt caught fire and they lost everything, ( I mean everything)
Deep down I knew I had to help them. I called the town who put me in touch with the fire cheif. I gave him my name and phone# for them to call me. They came yesterday. 2 trucks and a second trip I was able to fill.
The guy upstairs was telling me it was the right thing to do. I just wish I had more to give.

Thanks for listening!!!

Good for you!! Selfless giving is the best way to be!
God bless you!
that is a wonderful thing to do :hearts:
I bet it felt good to help them. :D
:ghug: :D
:go: A good example to follow! :) I joined the local SPCA yesterday while Willoughby was at his beauty parlor and made a donation. 8) It was very difficult to leave without another furry person, but I'm over my strata limit by one cat! 8O
What a wondeful thing you did and your generousity will be so appreciated by those that really needed it.

Kudos to you!

What a wonderful heartwarming story!

The 'guy upstairs' - you mean, Jesus Christ, Yahshua.. etc....

When the Lord sees that do what He wants us to do with the blessings He gives us, He knows He can trust us and will continue giving us more to help others. That's Christ's love shining through you.

That was such a wonderful thing you did!!!! God bless!!!

You got the best gift ever, just knowing that you helped these people.
I imagine the couple feel better for just having some things they can call their own.....but I think the best feeling will be that someone helped them when they needed it most.

If you do nothing else all year feel good that you helped this young couple

You are an angel!
That is /was an awesome thing you did fro that family. Congrats on doing such a wonderful thing for this family.
Wow what a great start to the year! :go: :ghug:

You must have made a huge difference to those people's lives, in their darkest hour.
You have no idea how you have truly helped them - you are very kind and good. I'm very proud of you
What a truly nice person you are!

I like to do nice things for people like that but I'm married to the original scrooge aka old fart and he hates when I do things like that so now I just do it and don't tell him or tell him after the fact.

I have a friend who wanted me to watch her dog for her for a few hours on two different weekends and he didn't want me to do it. Who know why. So I just told her I would and dh came home to find Simon(who was an only dog at the time) had a playdate for a little while.

No one and nothing got hurt or broken and every thing was fine.
That is a wonderful thing! What a good heart you have!
Hugs to you. Just a wonderful, giving spirit!
