Panda got her own present

Christmas was a cold, blustery, raining day. We had no front door, only a black plastic tarp seperating me and panda from the wind and rain...

I had to go to the in-laws and i was fearful of leaving panda inside...if she heard any old noise that she would go tearing thru the plastic and run away...so mean mommy put her in the backyard...

I was gone for about an hour. I came home, Panda of course was waiting at the garage door with her waggy tail...

I take one look at her and for the life of me cannot figure out how or WHY she is muddy...okay, okay, i know it was raining...but she DOESNT like the rain and will usually stay on the patio or her doghouse...

Her face was thick with dirt. It looked like she had been eating it...hmm, not MY dog....then as i raced to the house back door, there it was..a bone.

a long forgotten bone. i think, at least, a few months old...soppy, soggy and muddy...

i had NO idea that panda actually buried bones....what else does she have hidden out in her secret spots????

I have finally come to the conclusion after 5 yrs that my dog can actually ACT like a dog....who knew! I thought she was prim and proper...my bad!

haha..i was waiting for someone to ask....brian took it off the other day to paint....well, it started raining (for 2 days) so the paint didnt dry and he didnt want to hang it back up till it did....

i had to set up a ''home alone'' alarm one night when he wasnt there....it included a ladder, pandas collar (it jingles), the painting pole, half empty water bottle and a lamp shade..i figured if someone tore thru the plastic at least id hear them.....not that that would make me safer.... id just be more prepared to be freaked out!
AWw, cute! Panda was just waiting for the right moment...left in the backyard...rain...perfect!
Well she'd saved it for a rainy day, of course :rimshot:

That's funny! Christmas surprise!!

Beaureguard always has one stashed outside somewhere and as soon as he hits the back yard, he goes to check on it to make sure it's still there.
Just her way of saying merry christmas.
