Nail Trim Bleed - Aftercare?

We had the misfortune of trimming one of Casey's nails too short and it bled. It's stopped now but I couldn't find anything about how likely it is to start bleeding again? How long should we dote on him and be careful?

It's good to keep styptic powder on hand for those kinds of things... if the bleeding has stopped it'll probably be fine.... it happens.

Long time no see! :) How are things going?
Really good for the most part :) We are actually considering getting a second dog soon. In one of life's great little surprises my husband has taken a huge interest in Casey and sheepdogs. I've converted him *grin*.

We were at the dog park when we ran into a couple that had 4 dogs with them and two were rescues. When we got home that night he was online looking at rescue dogs and sheepies no less! Some part of my heart melted a bit since dogs and sheepdogs were something I brought to the marriage and it seems are now a shared passion. How's Panda? How are you?

Here's a pic of Casey and I since I just figured out how to do it!

Corn starch works equally as well and may be something you have on hand.
