NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

I try not to make them. I feel bad because they never come to light.
This year I do. It is very personal, so I can't say. If I get there I will post it. I can say that one is to be a kinder person, more giveing in many ways.
I wish I could learn to stop worrying about might come. THAT IS HARD FOR ME! I know I have no controll of that.
OK WHAT IS YOURS.............

A sure fire way to break a New Years resolution is to make one! So, I don't. If there are things I want to change about myself (which is a whole list worth!), I just work on them as they comes up.

However, I expect my WW meetings to be packed in a couple. I sure hope I can help the people who really want to make the committment!
May I ask? WW meeting ? what is that....
DAHHHHH Weight Watchers LOL
New Year's Resolution... sometimes I say I don't make them but I always have some in my head ...and if I didn't, whenever I watch the countdown to when the ball will drop ...some always come out of my mouth.

So far:
1. be more active in church
2. eat healthier
3. try to get sweatpants that don't make me look like i'm 21 as people always guess
4. workout even harder

nothing too special. :)
same ones every year.
i am glad i don't go to the gym anymore. i always hated going right after new year's day. ...but by march, it was back to the normal group/crowd.
Hmmm, I really haven't thought about any. How about

1) Build excitement for current oes.org members and Spread The Word.
2) Get healthier.
3) Do something interesting.
4) Close down oes.org on April 1st.

I don't think number 4 is a resolution. I think its a tradition!
I want to keep the resolutuion I started the end of last summer.
I wanted to lose weight and be healthier. Too much eating on the run, bad food choices and not enough exercise.

I have lost 20 pounds and I feel so much better. I still need to lose more, but this has been the best gift to myself. I never was heavy, only lately. I used to be very active and could eat anything I wanted to. It all caught up!

This weather and short days are messing with my activity part. I was doing much better before the daylight savings switch. Now I go to work and come home in the dark. Living in the country, it is more difficult to walk and do stuff outdoors in the pitch dark!. I need to work on that part next, or I will be gaining :( .
Ron you are so funny.LOL
As for most are great! We all need to be healthy. We get in bad habits so easy!!!!
I guess I have to say that that is also one of mine too.
Thanks.
To continue eating healthier and to continue working our 5 days a week, even when I don't feel like it.
I wish I could say that mine was to wint he lottery and become so rich I wouldn't need a job.... but since I don't play the lotto, I guess I will go with these:

a) become healthier and stop sitting on my fat butt too much!
b) have more fun with my kids this coming year!
c) become a pro at not sweating the small stuff.... (i tend to be a worry-wart)
d) continue to try and make the best Gin & Tonic I have ever had
My New Year's Resolution is to not make a New Year's Resolution. I will not set myself up for failure in the new year.
I really do need to stop worrying about things to come, but I know me, its just who I am, a natural born worrier. Even if I have nothing to worry about, I will find something, usually something totally ridiculous. I guess my resolution would be, or will be, to try to be more patient. I am and always have been a very impatient person, a lot of people don't realize it, as I tend to keep my frustration bottled up, but those closest to me know, especially dear hubby, lol.
-Get a job
-Do more bike races, and ride more in general

If I keep it to two I can usually keep them!
For me it's better time management, I forget to eat and rest  And seeing as I will get a job, it's going to be even more important to make time for relaxing.
well it only took me three days but I did come up with a resolution - to have more FUN!!!
if i beak it it won't be a big deal and who will know?
Here goes:

1) Never drive to Florida again. 20 hours on the road....<YAWN> This is why planes were invented.

2) Never ask my husband to mail Christmas cards to our OES friends.... Obviously, this is why wives were invented. Husbands can't handle such tasks...

3) Live life and love every minute of it!
New years resolutions :lmt:

Not to make any as I cant keep them
I don't usualy make them but I will try to eat healthier and maybe I will gain some weight, and keep drinking the Boost with extra calories for awhile to see if that helps
I started my resolution last spring. I'm streamlining and organizing everything that is left over. The more "stuff" I have in my life, the more time I spend managing it. Then I don't have time to have fun, volunteer, travel, or just be spontaneous.

It's been hard, but I'm starting to see results and I like it.
