Where can I buy some clear small Horse bands?

Does anyone know where I can buy some clear, small bands used for braiding manes? Thanks!

When you say "small", how small?

I've heard some people use orthodonic rubber bands... but maybe not for horse manes. The places I've found though sell in quantities of 5,000 though. 8O

You might search "orthodontic elastics" to see if you can locate a smaller quantity... if these aren't too small.
Petsmart has white ones. I didn't want clear, so I don't know if they have them.
Or a feed store.
I bought clear ones at Sally's Beauty Supply.
You can get clear elastic bands (small, designed for human ponytails) for a couple of bucks for 50.

They are available (although a little pricey) at Amazon.com:

GOODY Elastic-Band 52 pcs - Clear

Looks like Walmart has them in a bigger package (Only in stores, no price given.)

Yes, we have those here too.
I got mine at Target in the hair section.
I am assuming you are wanting these for a top knot? Why clear? The dog doesn't mind it its black, blue or whatever color. I use a darker color so that he doesn't look like a girl (no pink). Right now I think he has a clip in. First thing I found this a.m.

I bought the clear several years ago because I had a dog I was trialing in obedience as well as growing out for the veteran bitch class in conformation at the national that year. At the time, obedience regulations allowed you to tie up their hair with up to 3 "non-colored" rubber bands. Since that time, the regulations have changed & you can use colored rubber bands. I like to mix up the colors as José usually has 3 holding back his head coat & one in each cheek to keep his face coat clean & dry. And he doesn't mind the pink! I always tell him "it takes a really confident man to be able to wear pink!"
