house training Pups brought home vs pups born in your home

Ok.... anyone who is a breeder or who has fostered a litter and kept one etc...

Does anyone find it is harder to house train a pup who was born in your home vs one who was brought in?

Piper is 6 months old now and seems to have no clue. She goes out with the big dogs, and will pee and poop out there but seems to still have a lot of pee accidents in the house.
She doesn't have any medical issues and is not spayed.
I think because I just let them all out together there has really been no "training" I guess, but even trying to crate train her has been hopeless, she pees in her crate almost every night. I don't give her any water past 6 or 7 pm but of course she eats snow so not sure how much good it's doing LOL

I had similar issues with Bree (who was also born here) but over time she just seemed to figure it out.
Any suggestions?

I hope you find the answer, but I know Yuki didn't get it until she was 1. We had to set the alarm for every 2 hrs.
I hope someone has a better answer. Tiggy didnt get it till she was 8 months old and the weather got better, so I started sleeping her outside in a kennel all night. She can sleep inside all night now and not pee. Maybe they're just slower to develop and that's how old she had to get. Or maybe it was just habit to go inside and not hang on. I had mopped the tiles over and over and used urine off on every square inch on a couple of occasions to no avail.
So once it was warm enough I decided that mopping at 5am sucked and out she went.
