Aprocrine gland tumors?

Hello, my sheepie had a tumor removed in december, on her back right leg. The vet got back the results and said that it is a malingnant tumor however he was optimistic that my Sheeps could be treated over time. He thought is had something to do with her allergies and hyperactive aprocrine gland... does this seem right? I'm very worried. Please email me at; lutzwb@brevard.edu ; for a response or any questions...

I'm sorry I don't have any experience with this. Not sure what age your dog is but if a vet is optimistic I would definitely value their word on that. Not too many vets would give you false hope especially with cancer treatment. Good luck with treatment. Only thing I would suggest is to get another opinion from another vet just to confirm diagnosis.
