Did anyone watch? I thought it was good. I've come to accept that not everything has to be 'real' and have a real explanation for it and that makes it a little more enjoyable now and I can just sit back and see what they come up with. |

| I tried to pull mr. j back in, but it wasn't happening and to be quite honest... I wasn't too thrilled about the first/second episode. Now I think it followed the storyline from where we left off well, and we got a lot more "meat" than most episodes! It just gets to me any time I see that big wheel that Ben turned. I mean ...c'mon!
I'm wondering who faraday's mother is? Why she's so important, and who is that old lady that ben talked to (outside of just the lady that tried to get desmond to buy a ring). That red head girl and faraday are so in love. I'm wondering if Jin is still alive. They've already alluded that Claire isn't dead. |

So...when Des went to Oxford, he seemed to be wearing some very 70s inspired clothes. Do you think that was just a fashion choice or do you think his 'reality' right now IS the 70s...the secretary for Widmore seemed to be wearing a sort of 70s outfit as well...and then that would make Desmond Charlie's father...and his child on the boat is Charlie...hmmm |

| Would be interesting if Hawking is Faraday's mother since Widmore may be his dad. That means that they may have conceived Faraday while on the island in 1954, making Faraday much older than Charlotte ??
Every time I get answers, I get more confused at the same time. They really are unraveling things though. |

| It was a good episode, but nothing really compares to the first several seasons where the you're uncovering the plot. The putting the pieces together is exciting ...and then not so much.
I hate when it ends b/c waiting a week drives me insane.
Ben looked surprised to see Desmond ...or surprised to learn Hawking was also daniel's mom. I keep thinking ...poor locke. How much has this bloke been through? He's had the same leg hurt so many times from falling off things, being shot, knife put through or falling out of a building. Someone pointed out that the name on the van Ben was driving was..."Canton-Rainier" Cleaners which is an anagram for "Reincarnation". |

| So did Ben go and attempt to kill Penny ...but maybe Desmond interfered? He promised witmore he'd do it before, and when he was on the phone ...he was in the location of their boathouse??? I hate not knowing right away.
Someone I know looked up what was recreated from Oceanic 815 to Ajira 316, and... Reading a letter on the plane: Sawyer/Jack Bringing along a guitar: Charlie/Hurley Escorted by a marshall: Kate/Sayid In the crapper when plane falls apart: Charlie/Ben and then another came up with this: When the Oceanic 6 get on flight 316, they all think that this is going to save them. When Jack opens the letter from Locke it is a one sentence letter: I wish you had BELIEVED in me If we stick with the religious themes of this episode, it goes back to probably the most famous verse in the Bible: John 3:16 : For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have eternal life. We learned 2 episodes ago in "This Place is Death" that the island needed Locke to pay the ultimate sacrifice in order to save everyone. Ben could not be a substitute for what Locke had to do. It had to be Locke, just as it had to be Jesus. Makes sense although it doesn't give me anything I didn't already figure out. |
| I felt the episode was really slow last night. Kinda of annoying.
Why didn't they show anyone else from the Oceanic 6 after they were zapped off the plane. Only Jack, Kate and Hurley. 
I thought it was good, but too slow. |

| Anyone still watching? While I'm finding there to be less to analyze and think about, I'm still really enjoying this season. I can tell they are starting to wrap up the series a little, but it's nice to get answers and reasons for things.
And Miles cracks me up. |
| I'm so addicted. I loved the past few episodes where there were a lot of answers and it moved fast. Last night, it seemed like it ended 10 minutes from where it started (they basically got ben to the others). I guess once you go into the temple, you lose your memory of your past which is why Ben doesn't remember Sayid. I liked Hurley talking like he was one of us ...talking about the show. I got emotional seeing Kate say goodbye to Aaron, and I hate there is no relationship between jack and her anymore ...but have drawn interest in Sawyer and her. |

I was wondering what Kate had done with Aaron when she went back to the island. Richard Alpert seemed to have even more eyeliner on last night. |
| I keep hearing there's some egyptian relationship in the storyline ...since they wore it back in the day, but then they've also said he naturally looks like that. I don't know if this was mentioned on one of the episodes where the directors talk (I don't watch them). Richard is kind of cute. |
| I'm still watching, too. I thought that scene with Hurley & Miles was hilarious. Hurley was asking all the same questions I've had.
Richard is cute. I don't know if the eyeliner is natural or not, but he's had it in everything I've ever seen him in. He was in the short lived series Cane with Jimmy Smits. He played Jimmy's character's brother. |

| I don't know, but didn't Horace play in the Green Mile? Wasn't he the squirrely little dude whose uncle got him the job and he purposefully screwed up that execution? If not, he looks a lot like that guy and I couldn't stand that character in that movie, so therefore, I've transfered my dislike of that character to Horace too. |

| It was nice to see Ben's soft side with children although I was expecting more out of the smoke monster scene. The episode was titled "Dead is Dead," so I heard some wonder if Locke is really alive or just another image of the smoke monster. I didn't buy that b/c I want him to be alive to do something RIGHT in his life, but I'm just throwing it out there. |
| I liked Charles Widmore's swingin 60s and 70s look.
So I wonder if the Others have powers, or if they are just exclusive, in that part where Ben was telling Charles that he had married someone not of their kind and had been secretly going off the island. I wonder if that gives Penny any powers or something. |

| Wow, and I knew it would end w/a dang BOOM and then LOST would come on the screen! I hate that!
So are they just repeating themselves. I'm so confused. A lot of people are turning to the LOST video game (via domus) which gave away a lot of what was going to happen tonight. Possible spoiler although probably not about the video game ************SPOILER**************** *********************************** In the game, after this explosion, they basically end up crashing again ...but in a different plane crash of sorts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NclOOQ4iZDo ***********end spoiler*************** If that other guy with Jacob was the fake Lost, then people are saying they assume it was a rival egyptian but he was unable to kill Jacob himself, so he had to go through an image of Locke and then through Ben. The conversation in the beginning seems more interesting now. Black: You brought them here, still trying to prove me wrong Jacob: You are wrong Black: Am I? They come, fight, destroy, corrupt... it always ends the same Jacob: It only ends once... anything that happens before that, is just progress Black: Do you have any idea how bad they all want to kill you? Jacob: Yes Black: One of these days Im gonna find a loophole Jacob: When you do, Ill be right here waiting....
