Back from ObGyn...with results

She did an internal exam, and not sure how she could tell...but she said the baby is in the uterus.

If anybody knows I'd love to know, we were so dumbfounded we forgot to ask. Was she checking the cervix lining, or feeling for a plug? Anyways, she was just as suprised as we were, I guess she tripled tied me, then burned them closed, I shouldn't have gotten pregnant...one for the books.

So she is sending me to get the ultra sound done tommorrow to confirm her findings. She told me start taking prenatal vitamins, and if there is any developing problems to call asap.

Thank again for all the great support, it helps to alleviate the stress. Now I get to start planning for a baby to come in Sept, it just like having your first one all over again. I have to buy EVERYTHING.

WOW :D

Amazing and so cool. Hip Hip Hooray for good news.
Thank goodness you are ok! That is great news, Congratulations! :D
hugs,
Daisie,

Congrats! I hope everything goes well. My assumption would be that she could feel the size of the uterus - which would indicate an intrauterine gestation.

Good Luck!
Kristen
Isn't the body amazing, I'm am still in shock.

I get my wish, after our 2 nd baby, I regretted having them tied. I even thought of adoption, invitro...then finally settled to we were good with two. Anyways, tommorrow, tommorrow...I must wait before I start picking names.
YeaH! New baby! Anybody up for an online baby shower??
Congrats Daise! That is amazing! I can't keep count of how many many times I've thought, well maybe, and hoped, and then been disappointed. Yet, like you, I went from desperately wanting another, to being happy with what I've been blessed with, to again hoping it would happen.
I can't wait to hear about the ultrasound!
I'm still voting for the stress thing. But I'm stubborn sometimes.

Hey congratulations! May everything go really well for you, and all of your needy but loving mammals!
Oh Daisie, this is such good news!!  I'm so happy for you! How old are your children?

My kids are 4 years apart, and when Sarah (youngest) was about 2, I was "getting the itch" for another one, too. But - age wasn't on my side, so we settled on the two we had. Always said that if we had started having children younger, we would have had 3. So now we're on the opposite side of the fence - getting used to being empty nesters. Still not sure I'm sold on that, but it's growing on me!

Chris
Oh Daisie... I am so excited for you. :P
That is such great news. As for what you have had done being triple tied and burned this truly is a miracle baby... I guess you must be very fertile!!!
Congrats!!!!

Congrats Daisie I am glad to hear it looks like all is turning out well for you :D My sister had the same thing happen to her seven years ago. She thought she had the flu and turned it she was pregnant after having her tubes tied 2 years before. She now has a wonderful 7 year old little girl. I was just listening to a radio show about this the other day and the ob-gyn on the show said the a tubal lit has a 2 percent failure rate. they do have a new procedure called Assure which consist of some kind of implant that has a .8 percent failure rate. Drake and I wish you the best 8)
Wohooo Daisie!!

We're happy to hear things look better now, congratulations on your new baby!

Daisie, How old are your kids? My oldest son was 5 when my daughter was born, and she was 10 when Noah was born. So there are 15 years between my youngest and oldest. And I thought after each of them that there would be no more! LOL! Anyway, I was kind of in the same position of having to but stuff ALL OVER again, twice! Not so bad witht he last one, because of my line of work, I had a lot of the equipment. And a justifiable reason for buying some (maybe unnecessary) things I didn't already have.
Please let us know what you need, or like, I'm still thinking an online baby shower would be neat! I think you can put a"registry" of some sort on Amazon.
Tanya,
Read the Post "Baby News" It has all the details of what is going on with me.
Elissa
Thanks, my youngest is 4, and the oldest is 5. First one was a girl, the second a boy. That was similar to getting a new things for a boy, since all she had was pink.

Since the tubes were done as soon as he finished with something it was passed down or sold. i don't like to keep unneccesary things.

The on-line baby shower is a nice and vey sweet thought, but that's not necessary. I can shop at used places, and check or local paper for some great deals, and I know my/his family will help us out, even if we have to ask them. Some still haven't got these two kids anything, so I may have to just ask. Like they could all chip in together to buy us a crib. Esp since they are doing well financially, have no family's of there own, and no girlfriends...they can share the love to a new unexpected/unplanned neice or nephew.

My ultrasound hasn't told me anything yet, but they weren't alarmed by anything. I have to wait for my dr to get the results and then I can feel like all is good.
Daisie,

Congratulations! I really can imagine how excited you must be, shocked, but excited...LOL
We had Ashlan first and then Joey almost 3 years later. We didn't have anything to hand Joey down. Her closet has ALWAYS consisted of pink and lavendar. Even now at 7, she still has mostly pink and lavendar....LOL
After Joey was born, I also had a tubal ligation. I had 2 very difficult pregnancies, but still regret the decision to tie my tubes.
Any ideas for names yet :?:
Congrats again and keep us posted!
