La Grange, Texas: M OES x St Bernard needs home

Looks HUGE, cute: think Saint Bernard type but with sheepie coloring.
Obviously half sheepie. Can't tell if he has a tail or not.
Adoption fee is $60.

What an interesting looking dog! Looks all oes except for that face, definitely a saint bernard face!
Yeah, totally what I was thinking!
What an adorable pup!

happy holidays...
mostly sheepie markings.
what a doll!!!

how about tx rescue?
I have sent this post to a friend that just lost her therapy dog. She loves big and fluffy and always wants to take Guinness home with her. I will wait and see, She may not be ready for another just yet. He is a doll Saint face and OES markings I too wonder if he has a tail??
What a fine boy! Sure glad San Antonio is far, far away! Always wondered what an OES x St. would look like. We had an accidental breeding of St. X Siberian........he was a fine looking dog, but we couldn't keep him.
OMG.. that face!!!! :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
what a doll - I sent the posting to hubby - good thing its too far for us :D :) :D :) :D :)
what a cutie :aww: hope he finds a furever home soon
Bummer my friends husband is just not ready but she is working on him Is there a texas oes rescue?
Yes, there is a Texas rescue. Go to the main page here for a list. They may not have the dog.

As far as being ready, I found jumping back in quickly lessened the mourning time. I was still miserable about losing the K9 companion, but then there was a new very needy "child" who could help with the grieving. They listened as I told them all about the recent loss and licked away the tears.

Shortest time "doggless" was 2 days .....longest was 18 months due to working, moving, etc. I highly suggest a short wait period,
They have two othwr dogs and spent so much trying to save the dog they lost  I think he would be perfect for her but hubby wants to wait I have 5 and a foster coming in so there is no room at crazyacres but he is such a cute thing :D
Wow, this would be an interesting mix personality wise. Our 1st dog when we were married was a St Bernard. They are a very loving, loyal, but stubborn breed.
I also believe that this is a SB/OES mix.
Our Mandy was a lovable, docile puppy but when it came to training it was a slow but steady progress. One of things I remember 31 years later was that she hated her puppy ( my son ) wearing socks or shoes. I'd put them on.....she'd take them off.
Oh, what a super weight pull dog he would be!!!!! 8O :D :D
we can start working on a transport to you :)

Funny girl.......
well I tried. I am picking up a very large GSD foster today so I am up to 6. Does that make me a hoarder or just plain nuts :) But this mix listed is just a cool dog I hope someone gets him before it is too late Had I not committed to this new foster I would have offered to foster this guy for a rescue

I thought the same thing - if we hadn't just added the half ton newfy puppy..........
I could foster this big guy and could possibly even go get him. I am only 3 hours away from San Antonio. While growing up, my family always had fosters in our house and my Mom was very active with CAP here in Houston.

I will call today to see what his status is. I am not sure what all is involved with getting this guy out of the shelter and into rescue. I would need some help from Texas OES Rescue.

I just called the shelter and he has been adopted! :D

What a great Christmas present for both Rocky and his new family!
