Wiggly - oh that's the spot!

I have a Wiggly Jasper that I am trying to get to be comfortable with grooming but I have a funny problem. You know how dogs move their hind legs when you are petting the perfect spot and they are in dog heaven. Well that happens everytime I groom Jasper's side.

He is very happy and his feet go a mile a minute - but I don't get much done in the way of grooming. It probably does not help that I just look down at him and laugh. I guess I need him settle a little so I can line groom the hind quarters but I am not sure how. It is as if he likes it too much.

Any suggestions. If nothing else it keeps me laughing while I am grooming. I am not sure if he was groomed regualarly so maybe he will out grow this as we get into a routine. He is my silly sheepie.

Do you think he might be itchy? Give his skin a good look over and make sure he doesn't have any hidden irritations under the fur. Sometimes that makes them all kicky when they're sensitive.
