Why was forum.oes.org unavailable for a couple of days?
It turns out that the company which hosts my website was under attack by cyber terrorists, and they defaced and/or shut down many websites. Just thought you'd like to know that it seems that OES.ORG and our knowledge base is, apparently, important enough to be targetted as a United States strategic asset.

| This time at least it was just a couple of hours. August 31, 2004
The forum was down for a couple of hours while I updated the forum software for some security issues. No cyber terrorists this time, either. I failed to fix one little problem, and I didn't realize that posting was unavailable until it was fixed. Sorry! Should be all better now. Let me know if you see any bad behavior on the forum! Bad behavior of the forum software, that is. Thanks! |
| I have had problems with the forum not refreshing this evening. I'd see that there were new posts but, when I clicked the topic title, I wouldn't see what was posted since the last time I was on. Deleting cookies seemed to have sorted it out. |
