oops let me try again. I might have forgotten how to upload pics :0(

Asheville - have no idea why I think that just do.
nice pic
I don't know.
The clues rule out Minnesota though!!!
Where ever it is I'm jealous!!! It's soooo pretty!!!!!
Oregon
How about Utah
Kerry's close. Cindy don't tell...
The pic was taken from our deck. It has a panaramic view of the mountains and lake. You can't tell from the picture but it is at an elevation of 2800 ft. You all will understand this confession...we chose the location because it is soooo much cooler for Abi!
okay, I'm in Waynesville at 3500 elevation...I am saying you are close...Gattlinburg/Pigeon Forge area...we have a home there behind Dollywood. Photo very familiar...however after 2 snowfalls and 20 degree temps leaves are all gone
Well until you said Kerry was close I was going to say NW Arkansas up into lower MO. Now I'm thinking Waynesville, Lenoir......hmmm.
OH OH Pick me ! Pick me!! I know
I will guess the Shenandoah Valley, somewhere in the mountains of VA past Charlottesville 8)
Haven't clue, but it sure is pretty :D

Not the Shenandoah Valley, but I have to admit I fell in love with VA yrs ago. No... this is another Southern State.

Cindy...I know you know. Hush!
I don't know either but that is such a nice view!
Lake Lure, NC????
It is 20-30 mins from 3 different states. Y'all are getting close.
I thought I had it!
The far east corner of Tennessee?
Could be in the Chattanooga TN area, but it doesn't really snow there on a regular basis.....

Nope, too much red. Not that much hardwood here. It has to be the east coast.

But Utah is beautiful 8)
The last few guesses were so darn close. It is in northern Ga. A small town called Blue Ridge. The lake that you see is Lake Blue Ridge. The town is located mins from TN and NC and it is about an hr or so from Atlanta.
Blue Ridge is about 45 minutes north of me (Woodstock, GA) and it is beautiful and, as you say, very dog friendly as is most of the north GA mountain area. I have several friends who have left city life and gone up there to live and love it. We took Toby to an art fair in BR when he was about 6 months old, and he was the hit of the show! They had water bowls all over the place for the dogs as it was the middle of summer. But always 10-15 degrees cooler up there than down here in Hotlanta. Hope you get there soon!
Branson south Missouri? I am living in NE Missouri and looks like that area

We need to organize an Atl sheepie play date!!! The house is surrounded by 138 acres that are in conservation (which means no houses or neighbors). The sheepies can have a blast. We're keeping the house on a rental prgm until we can move there. But if we come up with a date I can block out the days and we could have a blast. Next year we could all participate in the town dog parade. Won't that be a site!

Soooo...what do you all say...shall we organize a sheepie play date? It is also mins for those in TN and NC. Y'all come on down.

sounds like you need to organize a sheepiepalooza type event - 50 sheep dogs in the dog parade would make quite an impression :)
Count me in! When is the dog parade?
I want to come!!!!
I'm thinking near Chattanooga or in that region NW Georgia/NE Alabama

Let's plan on it. The dog parade was in Oct but we could make our own if we had enough sheepies.

I just had a crazy idea (what else is new?)...downtown there is a live web cam feed. If we all gathered with sheepies near one of the cameras at a designated time all those on the forum could see us if they went to the web cam site. That would be kinda cool.

http://www.blueridgewebcam.com/video/ the site is down for a bit this morning for scheduled maintenance but click on the link this afternoon. You can see all of downtown by controlling the cameras. The view isn't great at night since the ambient light isn't enough for the cameras.

Cindy...you practically have the keys. You know you and the 4 legged have to come and play.
