Bells are ringing...
Jack is my wonder boy. I picked up a leather bell belt (??) at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section complete with the big brass ring for going over the door. I showed it to Jack once how you jingle the bell and the door is opened. This a.m. I heard the bells! As I was getting up from the table, Jack's head appeared around the corner, "Did you hear the bells?" I did and he ran out to his pee-bush.  |

I am planning on getting one. I think Maggie the coonhound will be great at it. She just stands by the door to the dog yard, silently and looks at us. If there is no one there when she turns to look....well we have a puddle. But, she loves her hunting bell. It hangs on a hook by the other door, and she loves to jump up and ring it. Or if we bump it, she goes nuts! I think a jingle bell would be perfect - a different tone from her other bell, but close enough she will know its a bell to ring! Hopefully we will have the same success soon. |

Unfortunately husband's hearing doesn't hear the bells........poor Jack has to rely on Mum to get the message. Wondering if I can find a louder bell to add to the strap  |
