Sorry I can't explain this better but maybe someone can? |

I call them the rat bites. ![]() |
You mean the gentle little bites with the front teeth? We call it the flea bite.
She does it when she is feeling affectionate, as a precursor to licking. |
I've always called it the 'sheepie nibble' and as far as I'm concerned it's a very high compliment ![]() ![]() |
yep moon ray does it to and some time when he wants to go out he will do it to get my attention and when he doesn't want me on the computer. |
Yep, called flea-bite here.
Chauncey will also root out my right index finger ( always that one finger ) when he cuddles in and will chew my knuckle with his molar's, then lick and then knaw again. He has done this since the ride home from the breeder. It has never hurt and it seems to be our quiet time together, actually quite soothing. |
Our sheepie doesnt do it, she doesn't kiss much either actually. But, the yorkie gets this look about her and climbs on the back of the sofa to get to your ears! She then grooms them and nibbles them. Actually not nice as she is very thorough! She does it more to hubby than me! ![]() |
Jackson does this often, although we have yet to designate a name for it. With so many to choose from on this post however, maybe we will have to pick one ![]() |
without a doubt if you showed up at my house Obe would give you sheepie nibbles. It cracks me up when he does it. Kind of tickles in a sense. It is normal OES behavior. |
Laika does it to the cats. They love it. It looks like it would hurt to me but they let her do it. |
