Rally and Chewie rocked this weekend!
After finishing his RE at the nationals, we are working on his RAE. This involves qualifying in both RA (rally advanced) and RE (rally excellent) in the same show. Do this at 10 shows, and you get an RAE. We got our 1st RAE leg at the Nationals in the Friday show. This weekend we were going for legs 2 and 3. A perfect score in rally is 100, and you need at least 70 points to get a qualifying score. On Saturday we got a 94 and 3rd place in RE, 97 and 3rd place in RA. So we got our second leg! Just to make me feel like a non-handler....the judge pointed out in RE that "I" made a 3 point handler error - and we would have been 1st place!!!  Darn!!!
Today we nearly aced it - got a 99 and 1st place in RE, and a 96 and 4th place in RA. Leg number 3 in the bag. 
Just qualifying in all 4 classes is great - to actually end up in the placings in all 4 was fabulous!!!!!
