Hi Lea- sounds like you have some beahvioral problems there. Take a cruise through our behavioral forum, and see if any of your pups issues are listed there, along with some fixes. Even a well bred dog may have behavior problems if not properly trained (they don't learn things on their own- just like a child, you must teach them manners). If you still have questions, post in behavior, and I'm sure you'll get lots of helpful advice!

Welcome to the forum lea! :)
If you use the search tool at the top of the forum you will find many posts on issues such as th one you describe. It's not that this breed has more problems with this than other breeds, but because people usually go to a forum such as this for the first time because they have a problem, there are of course many posts on problems. Which also means there is lots of advice :)
As far as your question as your subject heading, ALL OES are "inbred". They all go back to two studs, Wall-Eyed Bob, and Sir Cavendish. The lack of genetic diversity in the breed is becoming more known, and more dealt with, and many breeders are attempting to widen the gene pool a bit. Whether your dog is inbred or not may or may not have anything to do with behavior problems.
I would suggest seeking the help of a trainer, positive reinforcement, as well as having your vet check for thyroid, among other things, perhaps a diet change, and of course the dog should be neutered.
Good luck!
