Who is dressing up their dogs for Halloween?

I'm not one to dress my "kids" up, but I see more and more of it, and think its adorable. I keep getting cataloges with really cute costumes.

Who here is dressing up their dog(s) and as what?

Our OES club is having it's Halloween party on Saturday afternoon and we are having a costume contest. It is optional but I think several will be dressed. I will link the pictures so you can see sheepies in costume.
yup, in fact, i just tried the costume on panda the other day.....ill upload them.....
Max is going to be a dog this year. :rimshot:
Paris is going to be a princess, and my puppy Ben is going to be a King. Paris will be wearing a tutu and a tiara, and Ben will have a crown and cape.

Every year we dress up 2 of our guys and take them trick-or-treating with the kids. It would be impossible to dress them all up so we take turns. I just love Halloween. I will post some pictures next Friday of everyone dressed up.
I was thinking of dressing mine up as well trained dogs but can't find enough costumes  . Amber, we have to have pictures!
I don't know if I will have time to get it all together - but if I do I was thinking of dressing Winston up as Donald Trump - complete with a kid's business suit and "comb over". I was going to go as Melania ( Trump's new wife.)
I wasn't going to. But our local Starbucks is having a doggie costume party, and my guys do like going out to the coffee shops...

I'll have to see if I have time to make something unobtrusive for them to wear.
How about sugar bowl and cream pitcher, fits the place :D
okay everyone...get ready.....

HERE IS PANDA, THE ORIGINAL HULA GIRL!

i swear she is thinking.."its only because i love you...just hurry up, take the dam picture and get this crap off of me..."
Darcy...that Panda just cracks me up - I love her expression. Thanks for me making laugh today
The look on her face is priceless!! Absolutely adorable!
I'm laughing my tush off!

In the middle picture she has a "come hither" look!
I have to admit Darcy that she doesn't look as happy as she did when she was Princess Leah or Dorothy.

Harry likes what he sees though.
She's upset her mom made her a smaller cupsize than her. Clearly knows mom can't have anyone outshine her. ;)
OMG! I think you've hit it right on the head!
Here is Harry's costume - he is Paddington Bear:

OMG! Judy, where did you get that costume????? i love it!

Thanks. I made it.

He is such a good boy and lets me try his costume on a million times while I make alterations. The marmalade jar is a squeaky toy that I made for him to play with. He was running all over the basement in his costume playing with his toy.
Guess who is going to win the STL OES Club's Halloween Costume Contest?????????

(But HE certainly deserves it!!!!!)

He cannot win it if he is not entered. :P
Paddington Bear is putting the rest of us to shame :(
Harryyyy!!! you always give Walter and I a run for our money with your freakin' adorable costumes!!!

Wally and I finish our *themed* costumes today and had our photoshoot. But you all have to wait til Halloween to see :)
OMG!! Judi - you are too much!! Do you mean to tell me that you SEW AND MAKE PATTERNS??? Where do you get all this talent?? Harry is the cutest thing in his Paddington Bear costume!! Seriously. That is the best one I've ever seen.
I totally agree and would pay big bucks to have an identical costume!! I LOVE IT and what a great choice for him!
Seriously! I was thinking the same thing, Jo. I think Judi has a potential business here.

 Thanks guys.

I have always said I am a better mathematician then a seamstress. Never look inside my creations. I have always enjoyed making my kids costumes.

Unfortunately I am not having an easy time with these dog costumes because they are built one way standing and another way sitting. When a human sits the costume seems to fit the same as when they are standing. So even though I have done this two years in a row I have not been happy at all with the fit. Of course it is twice as hard with a big bushy coat. I might have this figured out by the time he realizes he does not have to put up with this nonsense.
Harry is adorable!!

Good job, Judi!
(and Harry too for all the fittings)

Ohhh everyone looks so way cute
Very cute Judi...Harry makes a great Paddington!!! Panda does look a bit fed up Darcy...maybe she feels over-exposed.
Is anybody else dressing up their dogs for Halloween?

I was hoping to see more dogs in costume like last year. Plus I want something else to look at instead of annoying political commercials.
I wish esp since J will be a Dalmatian again this year, but we're afraid Yuki will herd, nip, and bark at all the kids if we take her. :( She freaked out when she saw J in his costume and dragged him around by the tail, so we can't imagine what she'll do if she sees monsters! I mean, she'll be on a halti, but the barking will drive us nuts and scare the kids!
I would like to dress Shamu up as a goast-sp. I doubt she would le me take her picture though
:D The most I can manage this year is a pumpkin carved especially for Willoughby. 8) I've been so busy I haven't had time to breathe! 8O
The costumes are great, Paddington Bear had me rolling. I wish I could dress Obe up but I'm going to a show tonight.
We had a big Halloween Party at the Paw (Dog spa, training center) where I teach, on Tuesday evening. Our therapy dog chapter had a booth and game there, so we were working. Our game was outside, in one of the astroturf play areas, so Simon had to stay home. It was too cool out for Simon to be out all evening. Chewie got to go however! We both were dressed up as space invaders...... thankfully no pictures of me dressed in silver from head to toe!!

Here are a couple pics of Chewie -

And my Pumpkin that I decorated. Way easier than carving!

Thanks to Breanna for sharing her faces with grandma!
Chewie looks like he could be a member of ABBA!
Chewie is cute and so is your pumkin
hahahaahaha!

Chewie looks GREAT in silver......that is one smoooooth dog!
I love Pandas face its just pure attitude!! Love her costume though!

Harry Looks great as Paddington. I love his coat - he just needs some red wellies for next year

And I love silver Chewie's glasses.

I wish George would wear costumes he just won't do it :(
In the first pic of Chewie, I was thinking of Paris Hilton or someone (until I saw whose dog it was).

I love the mouth and eyes on the pumpkin! I think decorating would be easier too if we had those cool things. Maybe I'll do that next year.
