Funny bobtail

Okay tonight was my first attempt at grooming Jasper and he has a weird tail docking - leaving about 1/2 inch. I am not the best butt trimmer - Miley usually ends up with funny butt trim. I can't imagine how I will do with Mr. Jasper. I don't know what line I should follow when I trim.

Any ideas. I am okay for now as we have puppy coat - all soft and fluffy. I am just trying to get it figured out.

- Miley and Jasper have gone a hour and 1/2 without bugging each other and I have gotten on the computer. We have made a lot of progress.
