If this is for your new girl - email Ann Witte and ask for a recommendation for an upright herding instructor. adoannie@webtv.net
SHe is great and you will LOVE her. |
My vet and I are looking around ![]() ![]() |
the GSD would benefit from the upright instructor too - although the style from the OES would be different (not that my two aren't different as well)
Herding will definitly give you something to do ![]() |
Everyone knows that OES and GSD have a different herding style....my GSD is such a sweetie she mothers all the puppies I foster I don't know if she would be able to herd I just want to see if she has the instinct. She also had lyme disease and it ended her agility career so herding will be out but I would like to do the test, Thanks Molly is in training now ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() Morgan has Lyme and we still take him herding - some days he poops out a lot quicker than others ![]() For a test you can go anywhere pretty much - if you are serious about herding I would avoid instructors who traditionally train BCs and Aussies. there is a lot of wasted counter training from what I have seen. And - I know you know the GSD and the OES are different in style but I bet not "everybody" who will read this list knows that ![]() |
Boy oh boy are they different ![]() |
