 has regressed back from..........toilet paper and toilet rolls to............money...(again) only with a twist!!!!
She was walking around looking "guilty" so I called her over to me. She just looked weird, she wasn't smiling like she normally does....... so I tried to open her mouth and it was cemented closed. I tried again and this time was able to get my fingers in her mouth and voila!!!! JACKPOT!!!!!!!! A DIME and a PENNY!!! ( I would love to have some extra money for an XRAY of her insides..for the things I DON'T find.........  ) |

Oh.... 
This brings back memories of a certain Dana who pyo'ed. As they were looking for the cause of her not feeling quite right the vet discovered (what turned out to be) pennies in her gut. 
Had nothing to do with her pyometra, but did teach her owners to put their spare change away.... 
Obviously, it's not what one would consider good for her...Keep an eye on her in case she did swallow some. What next?

Owen does the same thing with little pieces of sticks. He'll hold them in his mouth and give me this look like "I don't have anything  " but the look of guilt is unmistakable!
I couldn't figure out where he was getting them because I watch him like a hawk outside. The other day, I figured it out. He roots around Bear's cords like an anteater while Bear naps and looks for things that stick to him! Owen is nothing if not industrious. |

| I cant get Summer to do it, but with Katy I used to say "swap" to her and she would spit anything out for a treat! Summer swallows first.....and then waits for the treat! |
| reminds me when derby was in foster care the kids used him has a piggy bank.. they found a few dollars in coins in him.. |
Casey was able to get a $10 bill out of my husband's wallet without disturbing the wallet 
He just sat there smiling very proud...must suck to be an only dog, the only people you can brag/show off to are the ones who try to keep a straight face while they scold you. |
