As many of you may know, my basset Simon is a rescue dog. He is from Basset Buddies Rescue - serving MN, WI and northern Il.
A few of you participated in our dog treat fundraiser last holiday season - they really were awesome treats in a cute gift basket.  Thanks!
This year we are doing an online gift basket raffle. Some of the items are basset related, but lots of it is not - some is even not dog related.
There are 8 seperate packages and a wonderful special grand prize art package - a portrait of your dog(s) - see the link for the prizes and pictures and descriptions!!

We have an amazing number  of bassets in our rescue - 80 dogs. Most are in foster homes throughout our area, with an unfortunate few needing to be boarded in a kennel d/t full foster homes.

I will take some chances on the raffle. As much as I would love the painting I would give it to my Mom. It would be awesome for her to have a wonderful painting of Annie her PWD.
Please remember to let us know when they do the gift baskets again. They were a huge hit with the people/dogs who got them last year from me and I would like to do it again this year.

I will check on the treat gift baskets, Kathie - they were very popular. I LOVED mine too. If they crew decides to bake them again, I plan on getting more as gifts as well. |
