not eating

My dog is 14 years old and just in the last two days won't eat and just wants to lay on her bed. When a dog comes to the end of there life do they stop eating? Shes not in any pain she just wants to lay there

This is very sad. You really should contact a vet and ask their advise. My yorkie stopped eating in the last 2 weeks of her life, but I wasnt sure if she was in pain, she just slept. Please find a vet and ask them. I hope you have the strength to do this for your dog. Keep us posted.

She might be having a problem with her pancreas. When there is a pancreas flare up generally the first indication is going off their feed. With the older dogs, I take anything off their normal routine seriously & we are on our way to the vet. The older they are, the longer it takes them to bounce back so I don't like to let anything go too long.
