Rheba passed her CGC test! What about TDI?
Now what...? I would like to get her tested by Therapy Dogs International although the closest testing location (that is recently posted) is about 2 1/2 hours away. I am in Jacksonville and the test in near Tallahassee. Does anyone know of an evaluator for TDI who is closer than Tallahassee? I know TDI updates their testing dates/locations although I was hoping to get her tested as soon as possible in a remotely close location. I know I'm being demanding although 2 1/2 hours each way in a car is a lot of gas (that's my main reason for wanting some place closer) If I didn't go through TDI, what's the next best organization? |

I am an evaluator with TDI. While I am not close to you, I do have a suggestion. Contact TDI through email or snail-mail and request a list of the evaluators in your state (or neighboring ones if you are near a border) and they will send you the names and contact info. TDI doesn't post our (evaluator's) contact info on the web site, but do give it out to people who express interest. I keep a list of interested people, and call them 1st when we plan a test.
