What size of clothing do OES wear? Mine is a 7 month old girl and she is big and she is only going to get bigger. Is the XL size the best size?

Clothes on a sheepie? Isn't the fur coat enough?

Both of our sheepies, even shaved, always ran so hot that I've never considered any sort of attire for them, short of booties (for travel at nasty rest areas).

I guess I'm confused. Mine wear hair. They grow it in the size they need...

Seriously, what kind of clothing do you expect her to need to wear?

Seven months old is hard to buy for. They can still outgrow whatever you get them pretty easily in a matter of months. Different clothing has different sizing. And OES come in such a wide variety of sizes. Some can be very tall, but have no width. Some are on the shorter end of the scale, but substantive. And everything else in between. Definitely a breed that cannot pretend one size fits all  So there really is no easy way to answer your question except to say that most manufacturers (esp if you go online) will tell you what to measure on the dog to decide what size <....> you need to order.

I have a couple of rain jackets, some boots and even one of those fleece jackets for if I decide to shave someone down mid-winter. Some people who do a little boating have life vests. Oh, and my girls are (mostly) intact, so they have a rather cute assortment of panties. I think that's about it for attire. What are you thinking you need and can it wait till she grows up so she doesn't outgrow it?

I think you are talking about rain jackets, or a fan t-shirtor the like... for example my husband is a big NASCAR fan and we got Baloo a #48 Jimmie Johnson t-shirt to wear and surprise my hubby when he was in Iraq. Course he only wears it for about 1/2 hour.. then I take it off.

We are not talking actual CLOTHES clothes.... right?! 8O

I for one would like to gett Baloo a rain slicker to wear when we go walking... for we walk rain, snow or sunshine. We are more dependable than the mail for our walks!!! LOL So I have my umbrella, but Baloo jsut walks getting all soaked.. DRIVES ME BATTY.
Murphy wears XXL, Bella wears XL, Eliott XXL. The sizes are for their rain coats :D
My two beasts wore a tarp with head holes cut out the last time we got stuck walking in the rain. Realistically, it worked better and was faster to get on than a coat would've been. Everything that stores sell just doesn't fit right. You don't get the coverage you really want.
I have to make London's clothes.

Otherwise I have XXL for both of the big boys but their raincoats aren't big enough, I am probably going to make them coats. London wears an XL and it does fit her but she is much smaller than the 2 big boys.

Ok.... trying to picture how you did that.....??? I am a lame-o, I know... can you describe better how you got it to work?
I mean I know what a tarp looks like, but wouldn't it drag the ground on the underside? how did you get them not to step on it? It's probably very simple.... I'm just a dork.
I'm not worried about "fashionable" I just want DRY for a change this fall.
Halloween costumes! That is what I want to buy. Don't you all dress up your dogs?

Love that picture of London! She's adorable.

erm that is sooooooooo wrong

Tantamount to animal cruelty surely?

When I put Jack into a t-shirt, he can wear an XL, but it's really tight. An xxl or larger would be better. We don't do rain jackets, we live in the desert, though irrigation boots, Wellies, would be helpful.

I just cut the head holes, threw it over their heads, made them stand still and trimmed the excess off. They're pretty solid on a leash so I knew they walk in rhythm. Their heads got wet but the rest stayed drier. Someday, I plan to make them individual coats out of tarps-- they're too big for any store bought clothing.

Absolutely not. Accessories in any form help animals express themselves (as if the wigglebum wasn't enough). It's obvious London is a DIVA and wants the world to know ;)
London you rock sheepie girlfriend :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
