My Baby Boy Finn

Where to start??

We lost Donner in November, Wilby in June and Kismet in July.
I am still so devastated and miss them so much!

Our puppy boy Finn has filled some voids........

I look at Finn sometimes and just cry because, I know he
was sent to me from my angels that knew I needed to smile again!

I will always miss my babies but, I thank all the angels that brought
this sweet boy to me!

Okay I say this, once again as he is running down the hall with toilet paper!

I LOVE that puppy :hearts:

You poor thing....You HAVE had a year, haven't you???

But I am so glad you found this Cutie Patootie~~~ I too, am sure your three angels had alot to do with it !!!!!!!

I really feel that way about (my) Heart :hearts: !!!

From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew this was going to a match made in heaven and that my beardie, Millie, who passed about 4 years ago was looking down and saying to me....."there you go!!! I found you a keeper !!!"

Now, she can get into some real trouble  ..including the TP..(I don't think I have had an untouched roll since she came.....  ) But I am like you....I don't think I have ever gotten 'mad' at her for anything she has done. I figure, she is a puppy, she is learning and trying, and gosh!!!! she is so darn cute!!!! ....so I end up smiling, laughing or just giving her a great big hug :ghug: and kiss  !!!!

I can't wait to hear more of his antics!!!!

You sound like you are having a ball!!!! Give Finn a great big kiss  ANd a :high5: :high5: from her friend Heart!!!!! Finn is making her real proud   !!!!!!!!
i feel your pain i lost dolly and derby i know how you feel duffy fills the void but still my my girls
what a tough time you've had! I don't think i could do it; you are so strong!!!!

Enjoy your sweet boy; he is there for you to love on, and to love you back!

My only other sheepie, Mopsey, was been on my mind alot lately. I trully think Mopsey picked my pups for me. My little Luna has so many of Mopsey's old mannerisms, and Tonks her sense of total abandonment to fun...

Its amazing how these additions to our lives really do seem to make our lives complete, isn't it?
I'm so glad your little boy has been a helper to you. It is always difficult to part with a companion and it helps to have a little extra love in your life.
do you think Finn and Heart :hearts: are related?????

(this happened last week, her age is 15 months old......

(please keep in mind that this all happened while I was sitting on the couch about 3 feet from her.....   ....Am I a negligent mommie...?????)
I love how Heart always looks so happy with her mischief!
All I could see was this beautiful fluffy sheepie girl with the sweetest face...what else do I suppose to see in the picture :P ? Oh oh I do see a big bone laying on the floor untouched and also some additional craving done on the chair legs...but other than that...it is just a picture of a perfect angel
Glad your doggie is there to provide you all the kisses and cuddles you need! And whenever you talk good about a dog, they always have to turn around and do something bad to keep you on your toes, and because they know you'll be more likely to forgive them if you're already in a good mood!

OMG!!!!!! I didn't even SEE them!!!! When did she DO that??????

(Actually, I know when she did it...but don't tell Dino.he hasn't seen it yet!!!!after all....she didn't mean to gnaw on that ol'chair leg...AND the dining room table leg...AND the other 3 legs.......   )

Donner's mom:
This is what Finn MAY be doing very, very, soon....(I hope not...) BUT IF he does...just PM me and we'll laugh about it together!!!!!!!!
For ten and a half years we didn't have toilet paper on the roll or trash cans at sheepie level. It was six months before we realized that we could have trash cans on the floor again.

So I am a former member of the toilet paper sheepie club.

By the way, Harry didn't know that Heart was so "trashy" .... maybe that is why he likes her so much.

Actually she has the same look that he has on his face when he does something wrong - like she hasn't a clue.  It is always funnier when it is somebody else's dog.
VAl...you are scaring me. I just started to leave Nigel loose in the house for short periods when I am out...and he is only 10 days older than Heart.

He has been very good lately...hmmmm.
Judi.....

Heart :hearts: will be showing her TRUE colors when we are MN. She may even get Harry to be her partner in crime.you know how pursuasive a women can be.....where there is a toilet ...there must be paper!!!!!!

Wendy--

Be afraid....be VERY afraid......Nigel may be 10 days older, but remember he is a boy and boys mature slower (espcially in the TP department) than girls.....
Yep, they must be cousins!!
(or members of a secret club!!)

I am so jealous I can't go to Nationals but, Marty will be there with
Murphy....he was going to bring Finn too but, thought better of it!
Oh my goodness Finn is adorable even when he is bad. :hearts:

You can tell he is so intent on doing "his job" well.

Dear god, your heart must have been broken in half - so sorry about all your losses. BUT, that Finn, he is too adorable for words. I love the picture you took of him destroying the tp - and i love his coat, he is absolutely handsome.

You know the best part of that picture is the happy look of accomplishment on Heart's face with that broad smile. All that work of tearing the tp roll to shreds made her so proud.
Bella eats the toilet paper...my 4 year old supposedly grown girl. Nigel doesn't bother with it anymore.

I think Bella is protesting her only 2 cups of food a day. She weighs 97 lbs now...but I can't feed her any less and it's still too hot for exercise.

I am going to start her on my treadmill...it's right in front of the swamp cooler...diet just isn't enough and toilet paper has no nutritional value. 8O
Kathy, I think your angel babies got together and decided that you needed
your very first OES puppy... they knew he had to be an extra special one to
help fill your heart until you all meet again. :hearts: BTW we want more pictures!! :D

Has she been tested for low thyroid, Wendy? My 65 pound girls get about
this amount of kibble too... plus daily treats of 5 small biscuits, cooked
meat and a little yogurt, fruit or vegetables. They aren't competition dogs
so don't burn a lot of calories.
Hopefully you can come to Sheepiepalooza in May 09 with Finn and Heart can show him the correct way to drive you CRAZY!!!!!! :excited: :excited: :excited:

(He is a real looker...I love the white stripe!!!! and the white shock on his "little" tusch!!!! ....I think I'm in LOVE!!!!!!!)
I find Tonks and Luna only play with the toilet paper if it is on the roll. If we leave it sitting on top of the dispenser, they don't bother with it.

Of course, if we have company, one of them ALWAYS corrects our "oversight" and puts the paper on the roller. And by then end of the night Tonks or Luna have pulled it all out....
I had her tested for every kind of thyroid problem possible in the beginning of the year. She was spayed at 3 and the lbs started coming on. She is Ali's out of Duncan who is a huge boy, but he is around 10-11 and is slimmer. She weighs more than Daddy. My vet said she is big...but she is lacking a waist...poor girl. Her metabolism must have slowed way down, and I think she is getting a bladder infection. I had her tested today but nothing showed up...yet. I am going to call my vet and quiz him in the morning.
Starting to think Finn is my "personal assistant"
He even gives me toilet paper without me having to reach for it

Val, I talked to Finn about Heart :hearts:
He is thinking with his stud Muffin self he wants to meet her!!!!
(we haven't told him he is getting his peanuts removed soon!!!!!!)

You are soo funny....    See??? I love your attitude...

I just keep thinking...toilet paper???? SO WHAT!!! One of the cheapest things at the grocery store nowadays...

NOW IF she would tear up my wallet and punch holes in the face of my driver's licence picture, or gnaw on my very precious credit cardssss!!!! :?: :?: :!:

THaT would be grounds for something drastic...like...uh!!!!! let me think....INGORING HER COMPLETELY AND NOT PETTING AND LOVING ON HER FOR WHAT????? FIVEMINUTES??????

(oh,,wait a minute, that would be punishing ME!!!!!!!!  )
Didn't Heart do that do Dino's wallet? Nigel has done it to his Daddy wallet more than once. He still has a bag with a $10.00 bill in it that needs to go to the bank. He has been too quiet lately. :?
Finn is a little Angel :hearts: Even though the TP is fair game

yes...especially hilarious when previously mentioned company suddenly has no toilet paper to use!

And I may be biased, but I think they are the most beautiful dogs anyone on the planet has ever owned. But that's just me; biased me.

ME TOO!!!!! ME TOOO!!!!!!

and yes Wendy...Heart did exactly all of that to her daddy's wallet when she was .....??????10 months old ...while I was, again, laying on the couch watching TV....(I REALLY have got to STOP that!!!!! )
Geesh..how we love our dogs!!!!!!!!
I know what a brat I am making......not for long!
Trust me we are working with him but, I still wanna
have fun with his antics!
I am sure you all know a pup is not easy BUT, fun!!!!!!!!

Image

Being my first OES pup we have to play!!!!!!

I am fostering Terrier pups so he is a breesze!!
Is he getting his mousing technique from his terrier friends?
Finn is such a cutie and hope you will keep telling us about all his adventures :D
