Summer has managed to stand in chewing gum. I have cut a lot of it off her pads but how can I get the rest off? Is there a way of dissolving it? It made me feel sick I hate chewing gum... :?

peanut butter may help
how will peanut butter help? Havent got any cant stand the stuff. I am going to have a google!
I googled and it said "peanut butter" I have just got a lot more of with baby wipes. Will have another go tomorrow. Thanks for your help, yuck peanut butter....now if it was marmite.....actually it says anything oil based would help so might try vegetable oil tomorrow in the garden though I think!
the oils in peanit butter when rubbed in th ehair helps get the gum out. It also works witht he glue they use for EEGs. my daughter had the same reaction when the nurses in the hospital told her to rub peanut butter in he rhair to get rid of the awful glue they used for the 48 hour tests.
My husband says " If you put ice on it it will get hard and you can pull it out. Along with some hair...ouch......"
GooGone works too although I'm not sure if you have that particular product in the UK.
