Cooper's baby basset

Cooper has a new little sister! We considered another sheepie pup, but decided that, at this time, we wanted a dog who wasn't quite as high maintenance. What was I thinking? It's been a while since we've had a new puppy in the house, and it's just like a newborn human all over again! Charlotte is adorable, loves Cooper, and was ferociously chasing him around the yard today. I have to say hats off to Cooper, because he is really trying to be a good big brother. Sometimes he forgets HOW big of a brother he is and has to be reminded not to step on her, but all in all, he's been pretty cautious with her. I've uploaded a picture to my album, not sure if it's viewable yet.

Dawn, I love the picture of Chewie and Simon! Charlotte will often sit under Cooper like that, but they always move before I can get the camera! Usually, the only pictures I get of Cooper are of his tongue. :lol:
