Lizzie's new hairdo
Miss Thang, Lizzie, went to a new groomer Saturday. She has a very heavy undercoat and I needed help with her. The groomer, who I adore, suggested we shave her down since it is summer, and apparently Liz is still shedding her puppy coat. Please keep in mind, when I took her there, Lizzie had a topknot. I agreed since the dogs love to play in their own plastic pool, and it will be much easier to take care of. The groomer, Sandy, called me when Lizzie was done, to come pick her up. Sandy was totally, madly in love with Lizzie! She kept telling me what a sweetheart Lizzie is. Lizzie has that effect on everyone who meets her. Well! You should see Lizzie! HA HA HA HA! She is shaved down (yes, there is a bit of fur left, but just a bit) but Sandy (who must have great sense of humor) left Lizzie's topknot! Lizzie looks like a circus pony!!! She is adorable! Tony said, she looks like a Barbie dog! When I take the top knot out, she looks like Sideshow Bob on the Simpsons! HA HA! What a hoot. She actually seems to have a little personality change. I always seen this with Pirate when he gets a new do. Lizzie is just as precious as can be! And she looks so tiny now! I promise I will get a picture posted! |

| Can't wait! yes, there is a personality change with a shave down, but it lasts a few hours or day.
I'm clipping MO by hand as I watch TV with her. We'll do the shave down when hubby back home. Then a bath! MO reeks and I'm assuming the brown beard but am not sure. Being an older lady she could have other issues. Jack will have to remain as is until MO is finished. |
