Toby did it!
The evaluators thought he was super fun and did an awesome job. (Which is high praise because Toby and heel do not usually occupy the same sentence!) 
Just have to send in the paperwork and get him a vest. Wonder if we can get one in leather? |

You are right, Lisa. CGC is Canine Good Citizen TDI is Therapy Dog International. So now, he can go to nursing homes and such. My best friend is a Special Ed teacher so we're looking into the "Reading to Dogs" program. Should be cool. |

Take a piccy of Toby in his working vest when you get it, does it come with a Punk Rock look? Leather and Studs . 
My sons want to put a black leather and stud collar on "Syd" and turn my sweet boy into "Syd Vicous" Wait till they see the pretty blue Flou Flou for his hair I have

| Way to go! I hope you get tons of enjoyment from the therapy. My Shirley used to paticipate in "Sprituality Group" at a teen boys correctional home. They'd be these tough, "in the hood mother %#@*" and I'd walk in with Shirley. They'd be all baby talk and mush in minutes...ha. She earned a little carved wooden cross for her collar. Of course she ate it. So I got another to keep in her keepsake box. Sheepies are also perfect wheelchair height. The therapist folks at the nursing home loved our visits as soon everyone was telling stories of the old dog on the farm...Good Luck and Congratulations to you both!

My friend does the "Reading to Dogs" with her Sheltie. She loves it, the dog loves it & the kids love it. Very worthwhile program. |

Harry says that heel is highly overrated but being a therapy dog is cool so selective learners do only what is necessary to pass the test! Now that he is in heel is optional. |

Chewie certainly steals the limelight when our group goes places. I think the other dog owners are...jealous sometimes.
And they are perfect w/c height, so great for the older folks we visit. Chewie loves to kiss the kids - perfect sized! |
