My second problem is getting this blackish mud out of her whites any suggestions. She's tired of me right now as I have bathed her for an hour. Sophie before her bath You can see why I'm worried about her getting sick Sophie after the bath |

| So far so good no sick Sophie |
| She cleans up awfully good! So cute. |
| I wouldn't have thought she'd get sick from doing that. I hope she doesn't. You sure got her super clean! |
| She looks so innocent in the clean picture. |

The water stinks to bad it was horrible, smells almost like sewage. It has a lot of rotting leaves etc in it. |
| Can you put a chainlink fence around it? That way you can still see it, but it will be Sophie-proof. |
| Wow, this is exactly how my boys looked after a walk in the woods! My problem with Boni though is that he likes to put his head in the water - same thing with the snow - so his whole head was black not just his body!
Bathing him was HARD and LONG!!!! He is fine but Lumpi's got a nasty ear infection from that water so we are going to see the vet tomorrow. |
| ROTFLMAO!!! Sorry can't help it...oh my what a mess. Been there, done that way too many times. Hope she doesn't get sick! |
| OH NO... I hope she doesn't get sick. I would be afaid of that too-- nasty stuff grows in that water.... UGH.
But- hey- she does clean up well, as others have pointed out. |
| An artisian well should have a fresh supply of water, despite the muck. I don't think she would get sick from it.
She looks adorable, clean or dirty! |
| that's not dirty, she didn't roll in it.......her head is still clean. If we have a big rain this season I'll have to send a picture of Simone.......she gets muddy from her nose to stub. However, you do have a very black mud, that might be very hard to get out. |
