OOPS!!! She did it AGAIN!!!!

Soooo...yesterday afternoon... I came home from work...all the dogs were running in the livingroom having a midday party while Dino was cutting the grass.

I went to the back door and noticed MONEY on the floor. I picked it up and saw it was a twenty dollar bill....about one-third of it missing..(chewed).
I went outside, made Dino stop the lawn mower and asked him if he lost a twenty. He said, (of course) "YES!!!" I showed him the 'leftovers' to which he replied,"Heart, of course...." I jumped to my baby's defense.."NO!! It must have been COZ!!!"

I told him I would sneak the broken 20 in with our restaurant deposit and hopefully the bank will take it (cross finger emoticon!!!)

NOT DONE YET!!!!

Dino went to bed..I was straightening up by their tuffet and found a third of a twenty dollar bill!!!!! WHOO!!! HOO!!!!...I went to 'match up' the 2 parts of this Heart puzzle and guess what????????? THEY DIDN'T MATCH~~~~~~~ I had 2 of the same sides!!!!?????

(i haven't told Dino that he must have dropped 2 twenties NOT 1-but he definately lost one of them for good!!!!!!!-- my dog ate it....oh!yea!!!!)

ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!HEART@@@@@@@...........forget the dam Heart's......

Mopsy ate money. You learn very quickly to put it up!
I just looked it up on the internet and I read that you can turn in to any bank currency that is more than half there. So if you have at least half of a $20 bill you should be able to turn it in and get a new one!! They sure love money..my kind of dog!!lol

our irish setter loves money and yes as long as you have half (with serieal numbers i think) you can turn it in for a second course.
If you wait till tomorrow you might find the other halves (argh...)

My husband was sitting at his computer, when our Golden walked in with bills hanging out of his mouth. He took my husband's waller off of the dresser, took a bite out of the center top - to make it easier to get the money out.
He has eaten (that we know of):
misc paper money
socks
underwear (childrens)
kitchen washcloths
son's paycheck
part of a credit card
misc papers - parts found in the poop

Since you know she is an "eater," you will need to increase your housekeeping policies. Everything has a safe place and everything goes in it's place. Ben has had 2 surgeries for obstructions - the first one almost killed him. According to the surgeon, once an "eater," always an "eater."
Ben's downfall was company who failed to follow the rules.

Good luck.

Good point.....

I know what her passion is..ANYTHING made of paper...toilet paper, paper towels, writing paper, MONEY, etc...etc...etc....

question is.................how do you 'paper' train a hubby????????????????????
Tell him that each of Ben's surgeries cost 2,500 for the surgeon, plus the cost of ER visits.

If that doesn't work, do what I did and start a Ben Fund (you would call it the Heart Fund). I put 300 back each month for the cost of any possible surgeries. Now that I have over the minimum I am comfortable with (3,000 cause the prices keep going up), I have "extra" money to pay for the normal vet expenses for the dogs and cats.
Haha!!!
