Barkley is coughing
Yesterday morning he began developing a dry, hacking, non productive cough. We went to the vet today and he was diagnosed with a form of kennel cough but she thinks his is still viral. Fortunately he is eating, drinking and eliminating just fine. The kicker is that we are suppose to be leaving for California on Thursday. We were suppose to board Barkley at his favorite boarding facility. ONe of our great friends has agreed to take Barkley for most of the time and another dog loving friend is taking care of him for the rest of the time. Lucky for us we are able to find people to take care of him but since he is our baby we are having trouble leaving him. He seems mostly himself except this evening he is sleeping more than usual. I do the same thing when I have a cold. Boy, I love this dog an unnatural amount. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Doreen, Christopher, Dolan and BArkley aka "Bubba" |
