one year ago

we lost Katy at age 6. This is one of my favorites photos. We were on holiday 3 years ago and at the top of the garden there were squirrels! She kept looking over the wall in case there were any about! Not sure what she would have done with a squirrel if she found it. But it is her expression I love.
Still miss her like crazy, but it is through her passing that I found this forum.

Kisses to Katy at the bridge.....i love her expression too!
I can see why you like it so much.
What a beautifull picture.
A loss at a young age
Without your context, you could look at that picture as if she's watching over you from "the bridge".

As her final act of love, she herded you together with us.

..sniff..
Oh Ron pass the tissues...x

What a wonderful expression Katy had! You can tell that she was such a darling. Phoebe is crazy about squirrels--according to her second owner, she caught one by the tail once and tossed it up in the air. The startled squirrel hit the ground and took off running.
Ha Ha!! Now Summer really wouldnt like to see a squirrel! If we see a cat in the street she actually looks the other way! Yorkie is going mental!! Summer is looking in opposite direction

"No Till, cant see what you are on about chuck! You must be seeing things!"

It is so funny. There was a cat from the home where she was born and I imagine it used to boss the pups about...
She was so beautiful....
I love that picture.
I am sorry you lost her
at such a young age.

Thanks for all your kind words, they do help. :)
She was a very beautiful Girl.
She looks like she could have been Pepsi's twin.

It's always hard when you lose them so young.
We lost our German Shepherd, Harley, 2 1/2 yrs ago at 5 1/2 yrs old to Cancer. :(
You can never have ENOUGH time with them.

What a beautiful girl I love her expression. I'm very sorry for your loss of her - it's way too soon
Hi ,

I too found this forum when I was dealing with saying goodbye to my precious Shaggy. I found friends who understood my sadness as you did as well here with Katy. What a beautiful photo that is and her expression is priceless.

They are never forgotten but the pain and grief eases somewhat with the passing of time. I have no doubt Katy is keeping watch over you from the Bridge.

Marianne
Thanks Marianne xx
What a very expressive girl. I have no doubt she has left a huge hole in your heart. Just know you are not alone.
