New Owner - Raw Spot question

Hello,

We just shaved our sheepie down and when we walked him with his gentle leader he ended up with a little raw spot by his jaw. We noticed it right after the walk and haven't used the leader since. The raw spot was really minor when we first saw it but I think Casey has been scratching it.

Is there a doggy equivalent of polysporin or some kind of antibacterial ointment? Anything we can do besides telling him not to scratch it when we catch him doing it? When do you know if something like this should be seen by a vet?

our vet always tells us to use regular triple anti biotic that you would use.
Done and Done. Thanks :)
