Happy Canada Day!!
Happy Canada Day! :)

We have a dog show today, I'm trying to decide if I should wear my white capris and a red short sleeved blouse, or if that would be too much LOL

You'd look great and you could always top it off with a flag

seriously that would look fine :D
Happy Canada Day to our Canadian friends! 8)
Happy Canada Day! Will any of our Canadian friends be having poutine to celebrate? (I think that's what it is called--gravy and french fries).
Happy Canada Day from Minnesota, USA!

LOL Poutine is fries, gravy and cheese curds... yum!
We had some yesterday though....

On a side note, glad I didn't wear red and white today, I wore the white capris with a black shirt.... no one wore red and white so I would have stuck out like a sore thumb.
Bree did take the breed and also made the first cut for group, though no group placement....
Happy Canada Day!!
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not the best Canada Day for me so far! We were on our way to take the kids to a Day in the Park Celebration, and I was pulled over on the Highway. Not knowing why I was pulled over since I was doing the speed limit (or so I thought) the officer informs me I was doing 100 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone. I had absolutely no idea the speed limit was reduced on that area of the highway, so I received a nice Canada Day gift courtesy of the OPP. She gave me the ticket and told me to have a great day
Man...that sucks!!! Sorry about your Canada day.
Happy Canada Day to all you Canadians!!! (I will have to look up what you are celebrating..... )

Congrats to Stacey on you and Bree's win :D
and sympathy to Amber for the ticket  .

LOL - OK, that one made me laugh!

And, just to prove I did look it up: July 1st 1867 was the 1st time celebrated, basically united the Canadian provinces - "one dominion under the name of Canada". It has been called Canada Day officially since 1982, when it was previously known as Dominion Day.

There!
I like Dominion Day better. It sounds much more medieval and tough. Canada sounds like, well, like Canadians.
LMAO @ Dawn and Jill...

That sucks Amber... but it could be worse you know  :P
Happy national day to all the Canadians out there, have an extra dollop of Maple Syrup for me OOOh YUM.
Happy Canada Day everyone!

I wore my "runners" and Canada Day T-shirt, drank pop, and worked on the Roooooof, said with the oooh sound (I just spoke Canadian for this post). :D

:cheer:
:D I will add my best wishes to "my fellow Canadians"! (Remember Dief?) 8)

I liked Dominion Day and never adjusted to Canada Day. 8O I spent the day with Merlin, grooming and cooling him off. It was extremetly hot, after such a cold spring. I then collected Willoughby and Edwina from the kennel and drove back home with the car full of garden stuff I'd bought in Calgary on the weekend. Percy hid before we left so he spent the entire time I was away ( 5 days) in the house with a supply of food and water. I left the radio on for him so he could keep up with Current events!

You can't claim pop or rooof for Canada-- most people in Michigan say those things, too!

I find it depends on the context of the sentence if I say roooof (like ooh)
or roof (like woof). I've weaned "pop" mostly out my vocabulary since I picked up saying soda from James (who spent his formative years in California) but it still "pops" out every now and then. :rimshot:

(Every now and then I throw one out there for Ron to let him know I care.)
