It's Lizzie's time

After much soul-searching, we have decided it's Lizzie's time. The tumor is getting the better of her, she is stumbling most of the time and has to hug the wall to get around. All entrances to our house have 3 steps, and she has been falling down these to get outside to go potty. As much as I will miss her, I know I can't prolong her suffering anymore. She has an appointment on Tuesday morning.

I am truly saddened for you and your sweet girl :( . Cherish every minute you have, loving her and letting her know it's okay for her to go. When you need a shoulder to cry on lean on us, many of us have been where you are now :ghug:
Brenda, I'm so sorry you're facing this. I know exactly how you're feeling since it's been just a month since we lost Drez. Treasure these last few days with her - you will never regret these last moment memories. :ghug:
Last year I lost two, so I know how you feel. At least you can let her go while she still has some dignity. Love her non-stop the rest of her days. We are here for you. :ghug:

Brenda
Are you doing okay?
It is so heartbreaking....
:ghug:
Lizzie knows she is always in your heart!
I'd like to thank all of you for your kind words and support. I feel so bad, when the time came, I couldn't take her. I helped my husband get her in the car, and he took her. I still look for her in the mornings, and I sure do miss my crumb sweeper! I think it was hardest for my son, he's 7 and grew up with Liz. She used to sleep on the bottom shelf of his changing table, then under his crib when she got bigger. We told him we'd get another sheepie for him someday, just not quite yet. We do still have Cooper and he's as happy and healthy as ever, but I think he misses his companion, too. :(
I understand, Brenda. I had to leave the room when my Jake was eased out of this world. Fortunately Joan was able to hold him until the last.
Lizzie knows you were always there for her....
I am so sorry..my heart aches with you..
I know...I wish I had one more day with Wilby and Kismet.
Our hearts must go on....knowing they are still silently with us!
Silent Paws are nice ...
She is sitill right there with you...

:ghug: I'm so sorry for your loss!
