She ate aluminum foil.

We warmed up some chicken wings on a piece of aluminum foil, in the oven. I was at my sister's house with Rheba. We didn't think anything of it and left for a few hours. When we came back home, RHeba pulled the foil from the pan (2 pieces each about 12" x 12"). Most of the foil was on the floor. She ate the foil on Monday evening. She has been eating and pooping regularly although her waste has been a little soft. Now here I am at 4am on Wednesday and she just threw up in my bedroom. There was some of the foil in her throw up.

What do I need to do? I didn't know that she ate the foil because it looked like the just it was shredded on the ground. I am currently in Michigan although going back to Florida on Thursday.
Rheba gives me a tough time about eating so I don't know if she will or will not eat due to the foil. Typically when she is in a new place, she doesn't eat her food right away although when I brought her to my sister's place, she ate during the 2 days I was at her house. She has been drinking and uninating normally. What should I look for in her?

I'd call my vet andf ask for advice even long distance.
I can recommend a good vet in the (somewhat) area if you need it.
I would at least call a Vet and ask ... or call your Vet in FL.

Then again I would be in a PANIC ~ so you already are doing better than me!! LOL
If she didn't eat that much I wouldn't be TOO worried, just keep watching.

The SUPER SUPER news is that unlike a toothpick or cellphone wrapping, if there is a problem with the aluminum foil it will show up really well on regular x-rays and can be monitored or located if necessary.

Funny. I always tell myself the same thing when Sybil manages to swipe some (about once a month). So far if she's ingesting any, it's heading right through and not coming back up the same way it went in. At least I hope it's going through or I'll have some interesting explaining to do if I ever have to fly her somewhere

Yes.

I saw a neighbor chase down her escaped dog and was trying to walk several dogs with one leash and a grab of the collar. So I went into our coat closet to get a long spare leash to loan to her.

In my haste I neglected to close everything. While I was outside Mulligan got into his open travel bag and ate some stuff including some plastic wrappers and vomited for a few days.

It was $1500 worth of vet bills; a very expensive "good deed" indeed.
So far, I did get to pro advice and she said to watch her first to see if she is acting okay. If she continues to eat, drink, pee and poop normally then she should be okay and not t panic. If she starts acting weird at all, then get her to the vet. So far, she has been quite normal. Although it was kinda funny picking up poop with "silver" flakes in it! ....not so normal! I think she will be okay although I am watching her closely.
