I think it is just great that you are thinking of adopting a rescue OES. Just remember your dog and the rescue may or may not make great playmates. Your dog really does not need a companion, just lots of love, which it sounds like you are already providing. You also must remember you will be sharing your time now, having 2 dogs. If you are up for the challenge, go for it! Two wet noses can often make my day! Best of luck. The rescue contact who is placing the dog is always your best advisor! |
| two neutered males are (imho) the best combination. but they usually coexist more than interact. |
