Remind me please...it's only hair

Chap went to the groomers this morning. I said leave him at 2 inches (LIKE THEY DID ON THE OTHER TWO LAST WEEK) for his summer cut.

Something got lost in translation....because he looks like a greyhound.

As in, I'm going to have to keep him in sunscreen...not just his nose, either. He's practically bald.

:( :( :(

I know the look... 8O

All of us who groom our own dogs will take up a collection for you and send you some spare hair to cover up till he's decent again

Yes, it grows out. But that one's brutally hard to get used to <sigh>

I am so sorry. :(

It is hair, it will grow, it is hair, it will grow, it is hair, it will grow....is it helping?

So, did they give you a reason for the short trim???

No. I buzz both Mad and - sometimes - Liz like that because they're both a pain in the patoot to groom and Mad's a pig to boot.

Summer cuts all around here!! :D
It grows back way too fast!
I hope you raised a major stink! If they were quick minded they would say, "He was soooo matted." You'd respond......"Baloney! I combed him out before he came."

Apparently a new or lazy groomer.

And yes, it does grow back out.
8O Willoughby is a mess and can't get into an appointment until July 9th ! I'm planning a buz cut for him! Luckily, the weather has been quite cool for this time of year!
I got sick and was unable to groom my first OES for awhile so I sent him to the groomer with my hubby.

I told him "YOU TELL THEM NOT TO SHAVE HIM!!!" I could tell his hair was not matted, except in a couple spots that they could've combed out.

When my husband brought HIM home, he was shaved like a poodle, complete with a blue bow on his neck!!!!!

My poor Sampson looked sooooooo embarrassed!!!!! Even my husband said he was a little embarrassed to ride with him!

No offense meant to anyone, but he looked like a 'cross dresser' and acted like he was embarrassed because of it!

Its only hair, it will grow back, but even the poor dogs know the difference until they get use to it!!!
oh bless it will grow and be better than ever..honest...
It will probably grow back quickly, although it will seem like it is taking forever.

I hate it when a hairdresser (for uprights) or a groomer does what they want and not what you ask them to do.

At least you won't have to brush for a while
